IMT Modular Partitions Ltd. warrants to their authorized dealer, or the original purchaser that all manufactured products be free of material defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns said product for product manufactured after September 2004. IMT Modular Partitions Ltd. agrees to repair and or replace any component which upon inspection proves to be original, unaltered and defective upon proof of purchase (which is to include invoice from the authorized dealer).
IMT Modular Partitions Ltd. obligation under this warranty is limited to the replacement cost of parts and labor to install. IMT Modular Partitions Ltd. will not be liable for the consequential or incidental damages that may arise from a claim of defective workmanship, components and product.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not apply to product failure or loss resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear
- Failure to apply, install, or maintain Products according to published IMT instructions and guidelines
- Abuse, misuse, or accident
- Alteration or modification of the product
- The substitution of any unauthorized non-IMT components for use in the place of IMT components in an integrated Product solution; such substitute components include but are not limited to, solid and glazed skins, mounting brackets, tracks, and other integral components
- Does not apply to natural variations in wood veneer or other materials and these variations will not be considered defects by manufacturer.
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is inclusive except for the following:
- All door parts including hinges and locksets are covered by a 1 year parts and labour warranty on installation and workmanship.
Force Majeure
IMT Modular Partitions Ltd. shall not be liable for any damage, detention or delay due to any cause beyond IMT Modular Partitions Ltd. Reasonable control, including without limitation; act or omissions of the client or its agents, acts of God, force majeure, civil or military disturbances, acts of terrorism or disputes, order of any applicable governmental authority, or difficulties be it beyond IMT Modular Partitions Ltd. control in obtaining, necessary raw materials, labor, and electrical power components or facilities to resolve the claim.
